This is the URL you paste into the Google Play Console “Privacy policy” field. It must match your Data Safety declarations.
Bahi Khata (“the app”), published by Vexonix Labs (“we”, “us”), is an offline-first app. The ledger data you create — people, amounts, entries, cheques, business profile, and notes — is stored only on your device. We do not operate servers that receive it, we do not require an account, and we never see your financial records.
1. Information stored on your device
All information you enter — contacts/people, ledger entries, balances, cheque records, your business profile (name, phone, GST/PAN, UPI ID, logo), notes, and any attached photos — is stored locally on your device in an on-device database. This never leaves your device except through actions you take (such as creating a backup file or exporting a statement), and we have no access to it.
2. Advertising (Google AdMob)
The free version shows ads served by Google AdMob. To provide ads, Google may collect and process information such as your device’s advertising identifier, approximate (non-precise) location, and device information. This processing is performed by Google, not by us. Learn more at Google’s policy for partner sites. Purchasing the one-time Premium upgrade removes all ads.
3. Purchases
The one-time Premium upgrade is processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment details; they are handled by Google Play.
4. Permissions the app may request
- Notifications — to remind you about due payments and cheques.
- Contacts (optional) — only if you choose to import a contact to add a person; used on-device, never uploaded.
- Photos / Storage (optional) — only if you attach a receipt image or create/restore a backup file; used on-device.
- Biometric / device credentials (optional) — only if you enable the app lock.
5. Children’s privacy
The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
6. Deleting your data
Because your data lives on your device, you can delete it at any time by removing records in the app or uninstalling the app. Any backup file you created is under your own control.

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will appear on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
