Why we built Bahi Khata
Shopkeepers, freelancers, and everyday people still track “who owes whom” in paper diaries, scattered notes, and memory. It’s easy to forget, awkward to chase, and painful to lose. We wanted to turn that trusted paper bahi khata into something better — without forcing anyone to create an account, pay a monthly fee, or hand their financial records to a company’s servers.
What we stand for
- Privacy first. Your ledger lives on your device. We don’t run servers that collect it, and we can’t see it.
- Offline by design. The app works fully without internet, because your data is right there with you.
- Fair pricing. Core features are free. Any upgrade is a one-time purchase — never a subscription.
