These Terms govern your use of Bahi Khata (“the app”), published by Vexonix Labs. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. What the app is
Bahi Khata is a personal record-keeping tool to help you track money you lend and borrow. It is not a bank, lender, payment processor, or provider of financial, accounting, tax, or legal advice. You are responsible for the accuracy of the records you enter and for any decisions you make based on them.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the app for your own lawful purposes. You may not copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or misuse the app except as permitted by law.
3. Your data and backups
Your data is stored on your device. You are responsible for maintaining your own backups. We are not liable for any loss of data caused by device failure, loss, theft, uninstallation, or your failure to back up.
4. Purchases
The optional Premium upgrade is a one-time purchase processed by Google Play. Purchases are subject to Google Play’s terms and refund policies (see our Refund Policy).
5. Advertisements
The free version displays third-party ads (Google AdMob). We are not responsible for the content of third-party ads.
6. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vexonix Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising from your use of the app.
7. Changes to the app and Terms
We may update, change, or discontinue the app or these Terms at any time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
8. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, with jurisdiction in the courts of India.
